Enhanced Maternal & Child Health (EMCH) – Pregnancy, Infant Care & Early Intervention
Pregnancy and early parenthood should be a time of hope, not fear. At Genie Safety Hub, we provide specialised, trauma-informed care for pregnant women, new mothers, and their babies impacted by domestic and family violence (DFV), trauma, and disruptions in care.
Our Enhanced Maternal & Child Health Nurses (EMCHNs) support vulnerable families with expert guidance, emotional care, and practical help in a safe, compassionate environment, including during supervised contact visits or early stages of reunification.

Why It Matters
Early intervention makes a lifelong difference. Trauma during pregnancy or infancy can deeply affect both the parent and child. For children in OOHC or families navigating reunification, continuity of care and healthy parent-child interaction are essential.
Our goal is to help families feel safe, regain confidence, and lay the foundation for secure, healthy futures, no matter their circumstances.
